How can I figure my rent payment?

The rent payment on a lease is the total cost of the rent plus state sales tax of 6%. On a triple net lease (NNN) you would pay a base rent plus expenses (CAM) plus sales tax on the total amount of the rent. Some leases are called “gross” leases and then you pay just a flat monthly fee, most likely plus sales tax.
